For Symposium's inaugural wine class, we thought it made sense to start at the beginning. What IS wine, anyway - besides delicious? During this class, we'll explore the basics - like how wine is made, the difference between red, white and rosé and why the places grapes are grown matter. We'll taste some classic wines and discover why some make your tastebuds dance while others seem to fall flat for you. And in true Symposium style, no pretention or judgement - just fun and exploration.

Your ticket includes: Wine class led by Symposium Wine Bar owner, Katie McKenna-Heveron and 6 wine tastings accompanied by cheese pairings. Katie holds certifications through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is a home wine-maker. The bar will be open for drinks after class, until 8:30 p.m.
